family game night prizes!

did you experience a fabulous family game night?

whether you did or you didn't have a family game night tonight, any night can be a family game night...as long as you have the games. maybe you had a good excuse for not having a family game night: maybe you ran to your family games cupboard, closet or drawer and couldn't find anything that looked fun or age-appropriate. if this was your problem, i would like to help you with a little extra family fun for your next family game night.

for your game-playing pleasure, i have three sets of hasbro card games to give away. have you ever tried playing scrabble slam, crazy old fish war, pictureka! card game or monopoly deal? i haven't either but doesn't it sound like those games have a ton of potential for fun?

if you would like to be one of my three winners of these four card games, you must answer the following questions:

1) are you an ultra-competitive player who always has to win?
2) what was your favorite game when you were growing up?
3) what is your favorite grown-up game to play now?

i know, having to answer three whole questions is fairly demanding, but i have confidence that you can do it! inquiring minds want to know the answers to these questions!

i will randomly select three winners from those who answer all three questions in the comments section on September 30 at 9.02ish central standard time.

happy game playing!

i did not receive anything for hosting this giveaway on your behalf (except the games i mentioned in the previous post).

  1. 1. Yes! I really hate it when Jacob or my dad win. And I must win this new contest too!
    2. As a kid, I liked to play Trivial Pursuit, even though I only knew about 1 in 20 answers (and that's an overestimation).
    3. Settlers of Catan with the Cities and Knights expansion.

  2. 1. Yes, I am also very competitive & do not like it when I don't win. Although, I do give in & let the kids win once & a while.
    2. As a kid, we played Sorry a lot, also a card game called Stun, which they don't make anymore, but I found on e-bay.
    3. My favorite game that we play as a family right now is Blokus. Even Sam will play it & he doesn't really like playing games at all. Sometimes I think that might be one of the reasons I had kids, now I finally have someone to play games with me.

  8. 1. Not totally competetive at games - just want everyone to play fair and follow the rules.
    2. Loved Sorry and Chinese checkers as kids.
    3. Now, we usually play cards - almost always golf because we can never remember the rules to other card games.
